Chemique Adhesives and Sealants Ltd, pioneers in the development of solvent free adhesives for the access flooring industry are excited to announce the mass uptake in installers using the one component pedestal adhesive, Polyped1.
Designed utilising Chemique’s rigorous quality control procedures, Polyped1 a moisture-curing adhesive containing no VOCs ensures that access flooring installers meet the latest environmental requirements, whilst offering a quicker alternative to the existing Polyped adhesive products.
Launched in February this year the pedestal adhesive has proved to be extremely popular for access flooring installers due to its ability to form a strong, extremely flexible bond with exceptional adhesion of metal substrates to concrete floors. The new adhesive comes ready mixed, allowing installers to use straight from the bucket. Ideal for repair and refurbishment requirements the whole bucket of Polyped1 does not have to be used at one time, instead if tightly sealed can be stored and used again when needed.
Polyped1 access flooring adhesive compliments Chemique’s popular Polyped products package, including: Polyped2HF, a hazard free solution, Polyped2, the original two-component pedestal adhesive and the newly developed Universal Primer for preparing an area for adhesion, as well as acting as a dust suppressant and strengthening the concrete surface for improved bond strength.
